Terms of Service

Last updated August 30, 2026

The agreement between you and us. Written to be read — the parts that cost you money or limit what you can claim are in plain sentences, not buried.

1.The agreement

These terms are a contract between you and Sesh Music LLC, a New York limited liability company (“we”, “us”). They apply when you create an account or use Head Table. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company or a studio, you are confirming you can bind it, and “you” means that organization.

Head Table is floor-plan and seating-chart software for event professionals. Our Privacy Policy is part of this agreement, and section 10 of it is the data-processing agreement covering the guest data you upload.

2.Your account

You need to be at least 16 and able to enter a contract. Keep your credentials to yourself — anything done through your account is treated as done by you, so tell us at hello@headtable.live the moment you think someone else has access. Give us an email address you actually read; it is how we reach you about billing and about changes to this agreement.

3.Your content stays yours

Events, layouts, guest lists, and everything else you put into Head Table remain yours on every plan, free included. You grant us only the license we need to run the product: to store, process, render, transmit, and export your content, and to show it to the people you share it with. That license exists to operate the service and ends when you delete the content. We do not use your content to train models, and we do not sell it.

You are responsible for the guest data you upload — that you are allowed to hold it, that you told your guests what you needed to, and that dietary and other sensitive details were collected properly. You keep your own copies; export is always available.

4.What you agree not to do

  • Break the law with it, or upload content you have no right to.
  • Attack, probe, or overload the service, or try to reach data belonging to another account.
  • Resell or white-label Head Table as your own product. Using it to serve your clients is exactly what it is for; reselling the software itself is not.
  • Scrape it, or copy the software, other than what applicable law permits regardless of contract.

5.Sharing plans

A share link works for whoever holds it, at the role you granted — view, comment, or edit. That is the point of it and also its risk: anyone the link reaches gets that access without signing in, including the guest names, dietary requirements, and meal choices on the plan. Choosing who receives a link, and revoking it when the event is done, is yours to manage. Revocation takes effect immediately.

6.Plans, billing, and renewal

The free plan covers one event at a time, with our mark on printed output and no card required. Paid plans remove both.

  • Subscriptions renew automatically. A monthly plan charges every month and a yearly plan charges every twelve months, at the price shown when you subscribe, to the card you gave Stripe, until you cancel.
  • Cancel any time from Settings, which opens the Stripe billing portal. Cancelling stops the next charge and leaves you on the paid plan until the end of the term you already paid for. Nothing is deleted when you drop to free — your events stay, the one-event ceiling and our mark come back.
  • Refunds. If Head Table is not what you needed, email hello@headtable.live within 14 days of your first paid charge and we will refund it in full. After that, charges already taken are not refundable, and we do not prorate a term you cancel mid-way — you keep the access you paid for.
  • Price changes apply from your next renewal, never retroactively, and we will email you at least 30 days before one takes effect. Carry on and the new price applies; cancel before renewal and it does not.
  • Failed payments. If a charge fails we will retry and email you. If it stays unpaid we may move the account to the free plan — your data is not deleted for non-payment.
  • Tax is on top of the listed price where we are required to collect it.

7.Availability and support

Head Table is in early access. We do not promise an uptime figure yet, and we will not pretend otherwise by publishing one we cannot stand behind. We do work hard on correctness, because people plan real events on this, and support is a person at hello@headtable.live.

We may change or discontinue features. If we retire something you depend on, or shut the service down, we will give you at least 30 days' notice and a way to export everything first.

8.Ending it

You can close your account at any time by emailing hello@headtable.live from your account address; deletion timing is in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or close an account that breaks section 4, that we are legally required to act on, or that goes unpaid — and except where the law or an active abuse investigation stops us, we will tell you why and give you 30 days to export your data first.

9.Our intellectual property

The software, the design, the templates and object catalogue we ship, and the Head Table name and marks are ours. Using the product does not transfer any of it, and nothing here grants you a license to our brand. The plans you draw with it are yours, per section 3.

10.Disclaimers

The service is provided as-is and as-available. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Said plainly: Head Table draws the plan, counts the seats, and prints the cards, but the event is yours. Check the count and check the room before the doors open — we do not warrant that a plan fits a venue we have never measured, that a caterer will read a report the way you intended, or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

11.Limitation of liability

Neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to Head Table is capped at the greater of the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or $100.

Concretely, that means we cannot cover event-day outcomes — a table that did not fit, a meal that reached the wrong guest, a plan a venue rejected. These limits do not apply to anything the law does not let us limit, including fraud, wilful misconduct, and death or personal injury caused by negligence. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights survive this clause unchanged.

12.Indemnity

If someone brings a claim against us because of the content you uploaded — typically a guest-data or rights complaint — you will cover our reasonable costs in defending it, provided we tell you promptly and let you take charge of the defence. This does not apply to claims caused by our own breach of this agreement.

13.Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. For material changes we will email account holders and update the date at the top at least 30 days before they take effect. Keep using Head Table after that and the new terms apply; if you would rather not, close the account and we will refund the unused part of a term you have already paid for.

14.Law, disputes, and the rest

This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and disputes go to the state and federal courts located in New York County, New York. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, this does not deprive you of the protections or the courts of your own country.

Before filing anything, email hello@headtable.live — most of this is a conversation. If a clause is unenforceable, the rest survives. We may assign this agreement to a successor if the business is sold; you may assign it with our consent. Together with the Privacy Policy, this is the entire agreement between us.
